What describes a typical patient?
Our typical patient is someone who has not been helped by any other means. Our success rate is very high. Our treatments are very reasonable, $50.00 per treatment. Relief should be within the first treatment (sometimes two).
Can I exercise after the treatment?
Yes, 24 hours after the treatment.
Can I get in the hot tub or sauna after the treatment?
Yes, but wait 24 hours after the treatment.
What if I feel “icky”?
Drink more water and walk. When we say water we usually mean “mountain spring” or
distilled water available in all grocery stores.
Can I continue my regular sports activities?
Yes. Take it easy, though and again, wait 24 hours after the treatment before starting
back up.
How many treatments will I need?
Usually, it takes 2 to 4 treatments a week apart and then a repeat visit after a
2 week break. After that, a visit whenever you are “broken” will do or you might
consider visiting us every four to six weeks or so for maintenance.
Why Maintenance Visits?
First of all, it keeps the body structurally balanced. To perform any function in life, sports, work, gardening, and any other physical activity the body requires fluidity of movement. Fluidity of movement requires perfect structural and muscle balance. This is the function of Bowen Therapy.
Why is Fluidity of Movement important?
People suffer far less from falls, injury, etc. when they maintain perfect structure and muscle balance with Bowen Therapy. This applies particularly to the senior citizen. Restoration of pleasant activities i.e. dancing, hiking, walking, exercise, is often possible with continued maintenance.
